TLCS owns and provides property management to six (6) Housing Co-op Facilities. The number of units or bedrooms available at any given time is limited. This apartment community located on 66th Ave in South Sacramento co-sponsored by TLCS and Retirement Housing Federation (RHF). Cardosa is a supportive housing program for adults with psychiatric disabilities and their families. The units are a mix of one, two and three bedroom units in a beautifully landscaped setting that includes a playground and community room. Folsom Oaks Apartments is a community for adults with psychiatric disabilities and their families. It consists of one, two and three bedroom rental apartments. Located in a five-building complex on 1.2 acres in a Colonial-style setting near Old Town Folsom, there are landscaped walkways, a tot lot, picnic area and community room where families can enjoy educational and recreational activities. RCRC provides a cooperatively living environment in which residents share the chores, cooking and planning of activities. The program is designed to help reduce the stress and expense of living independently for those who would like a supportive community in which to live. A staff member is available to assist clients in refining and developing their skills and setting the goals necessary to assist with their mental health recovery. 9th Street Co-op consists of two charming 2-story Victorian homes with private bedrooms located in Midtown Sacramento. 9th Street is a supportive housing community where individuals live cooperatively to help reduce the stress and expense of living independently. Residents are involved in menu planning and cooking, house and grounds maintenance, problem-solving and decision-making regarding issues of interest for all members of the Co-Op. Residents have the opportunity to work on personal goals with the Residential Program Advisor. The Co-ops are designed for those who would like a supportive community in which to live. This is a two story complex, comprised of shared one and two bedroom apartments located in the Arden area of Sacramento. This program provides affordable, furnished, shared apartments for clients who are able to live independently with minimal structured support. A staff member is available to assist clients in refining and developing the skills and goals necessary to assist with their mental health recovery. The Palmer Apartments program is a short-term interim housing program for adults who are experiencing homelessness and have a psychiatric disability. It provides a safe, hospitable alternative to the shelters and allows individuals the opportunity to get off the streets. Palmer is a cooperative apartment setting which provides safe, affordable housing, independent living skills training and mental health recovery support. Staff works with residents on an individual as well as group basis in developing the skills necessary to secure and maintain permanent, affordable housing in the community. Clients and staff work collaboratively on a goal plan that is designed to assist them in breaking the cycle of homelessness. Twenty-four hour staffing is provided.
