Jody Dahms is a fundraiser and marketing strategist who works with nonprofits to build their capacity to serve the Sacramento community. She brings more than 23 years of diverse experience to the role, having served as director of sales in the financial sector for ten years before coming home to Northern California and finding her niche in the nonprofit sector. Jody has been deeply involved in Sacramento’s nonprofit community for the past thirteen years, volunteering and working with a variety of organizations. She has had the pleasure of working for the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Make-A-Wish Northeastern CA Northern NV, and the Crocker Art Museum, focusing on corporate and foundation relations, grant writing, fund development, volunteer management, and event management. In her role at Hope Cooperative, she oversees all aspects of marketing and philanthropic engagement among key community stakeholders, external partners, and individual and corporate donors to support the mission and long-term fiscal health of the agency.
Jody is a member of the California Capital Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, alumna of the Metro Chamber's Leadership Sacramento program, and is pursuing CFRE certification in 2019.
